Loadout: SHADO “Camera Bag”
Regular Contributor Brian Redgrave’s PDW SHADO loadout during the July 4th weekend while spending time at their cabin.
For weekend carry this pack carries well but I’m still fine tuning the insert organization.

No fun! That insert is no longer available. It looks like a great way to convert any pack into a photo pack though!
Also, why the redundancy in the 16-70 and the 28-70 lenses?
Adam thanks for your comment! I contacted TrekPack soon after I purchased the insert to purchase another after I found it no longer posted on their site. Their answer was they will only start producing more when they see a strong interest, I mentioned to them I could probably get close to 10 sold and they still said not at this time…. But they do make kind of a universal system that you can purchase, build up the frame, and configure to your desire.
The 16-70 and 28-70 lenses I carry are due to sensor size. The 16-70 is an APS-C sensor lens that pretty much lives on my A6300 (crop sensor) and is my go to light carry trail camera. And the 28-70 is a full frame lens that I use with my A7rii (full frame sensor) for work and in low light conditions.
