Loadout: 80+ Mile Multi-Day Hike

Here’s an interesting loadout of the basics that Sam uses for his 80+ mile multi-day hikes (he recently covered the West Highland Way, Scotland, in four days!)

This image roughly represents the sort if thing I’d pack for an 80 plus mile multi day hike. On an actual walk, I’d pack a few clothes and a lot more food, but this represents the core of what I’d take. Here’s the list:

Oh and the thing in the top right corner is a military bum bag. I use that for small fiddly things and also stuff that I’d be getting out a lot like water and maps etc. and the ruck sack I use is a 60L “Tundra” by Blacks.
