Field Report

We visited the Somon trail again. The purpose of our adventure this time is to reach a giant rocky arch called “Rock of Somon”.

It’s a place that is not on the map. Instead I gathered information from various places. Because I was concerned about the time it would take, I decided to stay one night. This made it harder than usual, as our baggage was heavy.

We got lost but managed to arrive eventually. The Rock of Somon was magnificent! We put up a tent and stayed overnight. It was a most exciting adventure!

First day:
Start 5:00

Second day:

Goal 11:00

Below: Rock of Somon (Kei is visible just below centre of the rock – for the eagle eyed!)
