Recommendation 01: Leatherman Signal
Why? Leatherman’s Signal for me is the best pack carry multitool right now. Since it first release I loved the concept behind it. It can be helpful in a single day hiking or a multi-day camping trip. Mine has over 6 months of use and because of its versatility and unique concept, its one item I cannot leave out of my pack.
Recommendation 02: Surefire Minimus
Why? Another thing that doesn’t leave my pack is the Surefire Minimus headlamp. Expensive little lamp, but it made its way into the list because of its lifetime guarantee. From 0 to 100 lumens and red light capability, it’s a pretty versatile lamp.
Recommendation 03: Haley Strategic Partners Flat Pack
Why? This pack has only 3 months with me and became my top pack because of its packing capabilities and simpleness. From a mere 200 cubic inches simple everyday pack, to a full blown 600 cubic inches pack, this pack handles anything. All I got to do is change its contents and from a normal EDC pack, I can have a hiking overnight pack in seconds. Love it so much, I bought another in other color.
