Thunder Bird Hills: Snow Searching Visual Report
With a high temperature still in Japan’s winter, the brothers plus their new travelling companion, Chika, head back to the great Mt. Omine in search of snow.
They enjoyed a sumptuous cuisine in a beautiful hut.
On the second day of hiking, they headed to the summit with only their light equipment. The Kifaru Guide Lid (below centre) transforms into a small pack that works great alongside the E&E.
The Lost Park Parka is very warm and tough. The relaxed fit means it can even be worn over the top of an outer shell.
