- MedKit in ITS Tactical Zip Bag
- ITS Tactical Gizmo Lite Bag with compact camera and small emergency power pack with iPhone cable
- Firestarting kit in small ITS Tactical EDC pouch
- Magpul DAKA pouch with some snacks
- Local map (plus GPS watch on my wrist)
- Paracord (always handy)
- Thermal rescue blanket (never go mountaineering without it)
- Small fixed blade (Mora Eldris)
- Medium folder (Chris Reeve Impinda)
- PETZL TacTikka lamp + spare batteries (I carry Lithium batteries in winter)
- MIZU thermal flask with some hot coffee
- Small flask with my favourite 12 year single malt poison
- Hiking poles + additional wool beanie
