I am married and a father of 2 adventurer princesses. Currently, I work in a firefighting unit at a French airport, in Brittany. I spent 17 years of service within the Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris. This included several different assignment units: 7 years in a “traditional” firefighting company; 4 years in the Louvre museum (protection of works and assistance to visitors); then 6 years in a Search & Rescue team in Urban Environments.
I have been a rescuer since the age of 16. Being involved with the French Red Cross, volunteer firefighters and Paris firefighters have made me what I am today. My lifeguard activities made me realize the usefulness of having very good equipment at your disposal, and above all, having everything available, easily accessible and usable. Where every second counts to save lives, we quickly learn to be rational. This is why, today, I am a great enthusiast, even a maniac, of the equipment and the bags that I carry.
Whenever I can, I try to get lost in the forests or on the mountain peaks to test my skills and abilities, but also for the love of nature. I also love studying the flora and fauna of our dear planet earth.
Thanks to social networks and the internet, it is a pleasure every day to share, discover and discuss with people from all walks of life who each have material, professional or simply local constraints, during their reflections on the different materials to carry every day. All together, we will inevitably succeed in making the world a better place.
My motto: “Make your life a dream, and your dream a reality”, And the best, isn’t it to do what you are judged incapable?
